A dance instructor and part-time events organizer was arrested for taking a picture of PBA player Danny Ildefonso naked and taking a shower at the Meralco gym in Pasig City Tuesday.

Anthony Arnold Trinidad, 46, tried to escape after Ildefonso, who plays for Meralco Bolts, noticed him but was cornered by Meralco security guards Albino Barredo and Baltazar Antido.

The cager filed a complaint for violation of Republic Act 9995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009 against Trinidad, Eastern Police District director Chief Superintendent Abe Villacorta said.

Accompanied by Meralco Bolts assistant coach Art de la Cruz, Ildefonso, 37, told police that he took a shower after the team’s practice session at the Meralco gym.

He said he heard a “clicking” sound. When he peeked through the curtain, he saw Trinidad kneeling on the floor and taking his pictures.

When Ildefonso returned yesterday to the EPD headquarters for the formal filing of charges, Trinidad asked his forgiveness and promised to delete the nude photos on his iPad.

The suspect was released from detention after Ildefonso decided not to pursue the charges against Trinidad.

What's up with these people?  This is not the first time when popular celebrities were taken a picture of a video while taking a shower.  Earlier this year, Aaron Villena caught-in-the-act the person who took a video of him while showering at Gold's Gym E. Rodriguez.

People should know that the penalties if found guilty is imprisonment of not less than three (3) years but not more than seven (7) years and a fine of not less than One hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) but not more than Five hundred thousand pesos (P500,000.00), or both, at the discretion of the court shall be imposed upon any person found guilty of violating Section 4 of this Act.
